Corofino II was approved in 1998 he went on to do his 30 day stallion test in Schlieckau he received a 10 for character 9 for Temperament 10 for jumping.
As a five year old Corofino II qualified for the Bundeschampionat (German young horse championships) where he won one of the qualifications for the final with a final note of 9.
After this Corofino II continued in sport with Thomas Konle in the breeding region of Baden Wittenburg and over the years he accumulated more than 125 wins and placing's up to 1.60cm.
Corofino also fulfilled his breeding duties over this time and now his oldest crop are 7 year olds
In 2009 Corofino II returned to Holstein and was ridden by Janne Meyer with fantastic results including a 3rd in the Tasdorf Grand Prix, a 2nd in Balve, the German Championships and winning the Breitenburg Grand Prix in Holstein in which the field included the Beijing silver medalist Rolf-Göran Bengtsson on his Olympic mount Ninja.
Corofino II jumped more than 90% clear rounds from 1.45m to 1.60m a phenomenal record. The first thing people comment on is his scope and how careful he is.

Corofino II is a full brother to the champion sireCorofino I. Corofino I competed in Italy at Grand Prix Between the ages of 8 and 16, Corofino I created a super record of international achievements with the Italian rider:
- Winner of the National Grand Prix at Golra Minore (twice), and placed at Vermezzo, Trucazzano, Predazzo, San Remo.
- Placed in International competition at Modena, Vincenza, Pinerolo, Massazza, Cesena, Gorla Minore, Arezzo, Linz, Cannes, Cervia and in one round during the World Cup Final in Milan.
Corofino I is 9 years older than Corofino II he sired both the 2008 Olympians Russeland Corlato. He has been a prolific sire of champion broodmares.
Also from this family is Coriano. He is a half brother to Corofino II's mother Valeska. Coriano is also by Corrado. He also had 2 of his progeny at Beijing Olympics Coertisand Chinobampo Lavita. Coriano competed to top level and has many offspring doing the same all round the world.
Corofino II is also the half brother of Holsteiner Approval champion Camiros (by Contender) and the Holsteiner Approval champion, Diarado (Diamant De Semilly x Corrado) is also very closely related.

Right from the start, it was apparent that Corrado was something special, and at his performance test he scored 10s for his free jumping and jumping ability / training. He also scored 8 for rideability. He ended with a jumping score of 137, the highest of his year and finished 3rd overall.
Corrado was ridden by the Holsteiner Verband riders, Thiess Luther and Bo Kristoffersen on the young horse circuit, and was a finalist as a six year old at the Bundeschampionate in 1991. The next season he commenced his international jumping career.
Under an agreement between the Verband and Franke Sloothaaks sponsors of the time, San Patrignano, he was campaigned by Franke.
The pair won the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden in 1993, and were second in the Nations Cup at La Baule. In 1994, Corrado won the World Cup Qualifier at Dortmund and finished third in the Nations Cup at Aachen. He also won the German Championship that year. In 1996, he won the Danish World Cup Qualifier at Aarhus, and the Grand Prix of Neumünster and Kiel. In 1997, Franke and Corrado were third in the Hamburg Grand Prix and fourth in the Grand Prix of Göteborg.
As a sire, Corrado was again, an instant success. His international jumpers include: Classic H with Helena Persson, Cher with Piet Raymakers, Corrada with Peter Charles, Cosmina with Markus Fuchs, Cosmos Star with Evelyne Blaton, Caramia with Espen Johannsen, Canyon with Tim Grubb, Think Twice with Leopold van Asten, Corradina with Carsten-Otto Nagel and Cabrio with Felix and Toni Hassman. Also he spectacular son , Clinton, who was individually 4th at the Olympic Games in Athens, and second behind Shutterfly at Aachen in 2005, Clinton is the sire of Cornet Obolensky.
By the end of 2006, Corrado I is recorded with 95 progeny who had jumped at an international level.

Breeding analysis of the 2006 World Games SJ and 2008 Olympics
It has been reported that Corofino has "issue with water jumps" in defence of the horse and to clear up misconceptions the facts are Corofino only had 1 issue in Europe with water and that was at Balve where you turned and saw it late. Thomas said the last summer he rode Corofino from March to September Corofino jumped without any faults at the highest level, 1.60m tracks and 4m open waters.

Cocett's Mother GOLDKÜSTE is a half sister to the great sire Contender.
Contender was approved in 1986, best of his age-group in stallion achievement test. Contender spent his first three years at stud in Oldenburg before moving to Holstein. An impressive number of his first foals went on to international careers: Niko (Geoff Billington). Copa dOro (Yves Houtackers) and Maria Callas (Ben Schröder) there is also Herbert Blöckers eventer, Chicoletto.
Contender sons include: Cantos (KWPN, damsire, Goodtimes), Koriander (Moltke I), Canabis Z (Silvester), Chellano Z (Cor de la Bryère), and Oldenburg performance test champion, Contango (exported to the USA), Continue, Caius, Clinton, Calvador, Camiros (1994 approval winner), Concerto I and II, Coleo and Concetto.
Contender has dominated German breeding values for many years now and continues to produce exciting young stallions. Marco Kutscher is successfully riding three approved Contender sons in international sport: Contreo, Conterno Grande and Montender (German Champion of 2003, bronze medallist at the Athens Games and European Champion 2005). Toni Hassmann won the German Showjumping Derby with Collin, whilst Checkmate won on the Rider's Tour with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and was her ride at the European Championships.The licensed Holsteiner, Controe (out of Amalva by Aloube Z) has twice been runner up in major classes at CSIs in Stockholm and Amsterdam. Another Contender, the 2004 world champion of sires, Con Spirito R (dam, Galaune by Caletto I) is based in Switzerland at the Ruetimann Stud, and has been successfully competed by Theo Muff.
Contenders influence spreads throughout Germany, with his two sons, Cordobes I & II acquired by the Westfalien stud stud at Warendorf. Cordobes I was the winner of his performance test in 1998 scoring almost exactly the same jumping score as his celebrated sire, 146.29!
Contender was ranked third in the list of the world's best showjumping sires in 2004 and he now has more than 90 aprroved sons.

Ulina the 1992 German Champion she jumped to highest level international and she is also the mother of Think Twice (Corrado),
Akkelei a State Premium mare and the mother of Cassandro I (Caletto I) was champion at the approvals in 1992, international placements among others a victory in the world cup in Mechelin with Jerry Smit, Cassandro II was Thuringian Champion and internationally successful,
Cornetto, reserve champion at approvals many internationally sucess including 2nd in the Hamburg Derby,
Antigone State Premium mare and competed sucessfully to highest international level, Caro As also competed sucessfully to highest international level.
Cocett herself competed to MB level up to 1.50m she has a full sister competing at S level 1.50m she also has another sister who has had 2 approved stallions.
Cocett is in foal to the Bundeschampionate winner Lansing.
